A new breed of robo-advisors: Investify launches EU-wide licensed digital investment platform from Luxembourg
Investify, a Luxembourg-based digital investment platform set up and backed by asset management company Rhein Asset Management and banking software specialist Aixigo, recently received its investment firm license in Luxembourg.
Regulated by the Luxembourg financial services regulator CSSF and operating with an EU-wide license, Investify offers portfolio management services, beyond “first generation" robo-advisors that operate solely as financial intermediaries. The platform went live as of mid-December targeting portfolios of a minimum EUR 5,000. Clients are able to invest in an individualised way through ETFs and add actively managed sections to their portfolio from a broad range of investment topics including “wearables”, “water” or “smart home”. Since selection and investment processes are entirely digitalised, the platform does not require any paper documents nor signatures. Targeting the German-speaking market first, the Luxembourg-based company will open representative offices in Germany and Austria.
Investify joins an increasing number of innovative FinTech companies that have chosen Luxembourg as their hub to develop their services and expand across Europe.
