Eurizon Capital’s Luxembourg team has its own portfolio management team and has long specialised in managing semi-passive limited-tracking-error funds. The new range includes both listed (UCITS-ETFs) and traditional (retail and institutional) classes. According to Eurizon, the ETF range is “a complement to both active and passive management […] they represent ideal solutions as components of asset management, unit-linked products, and fund-of-funds.”
10 equity funds have been available since May 23, 2025, and their ETF classes were brought to market on June 18. The gradual introduction phase of bond funds began on June 6. Eurizon specifies that, like its entire offering, this range integrates ESG criteria in the selection of financial instruments.
Eurizon’s decision to set up its ETF platform further strengthens Luxembourg’s growing role as a key European hub for ETF funds, leveraging the government’s initaitives to boost the financial centre’s competitiveness.
The Luxembourg subsidiary Eurizon Capital S.A. markets Luxembourg funds in 26 countries and has branches in Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, and an office in Zurich.
