FOCUS ON PENSIONS
Thursday, 22 April 2021
10:30-11:30 CEST
The world is ageing. Average global life expectancy increased by 15 years between 1950 and 2019. Combined with sustained low interest rate environments in various regions, pension systems are under strain.
Our Focus On Pensions examines this critical aspect of our financial systems. Fausto Parente, Executive Director of EIOPA, will provide the keynote speech, looking into how Europe can build stronger pensions through increased cross border cooperation and how a workable cross border pension system contributes to a greater mobility.
Our panel with experts from EFAMA, Amundi and BlackRock will discuss the latest PEPP developments, as well as international pension funds in practice.
